giving me the stinkeye...

This "thing" (grasshopper...huge grasshopper) hopped a ride down my driveway and gave me the stinkeye the whole way!

We have extreme drought and now very intimating grasshoppers.  I am in need of some chickens!

(I did use my macro lens, so he isn't as big as he appears..about 3")

So sorry about the drought situation there. I have family and friends in Arizona and they feel the pinch as well. Trying to share some of my 'greenness' with folks on my blog. Our skies are gray today so good chance we will get a shower at some point.

Hey, thanks for commenting today. Your mom is right about again NOT being for sissies. :-)

I had a grasshopper one time, go all the way to my granddaughters swim school with us, and all the way back home. It just hung on for the ride!!

Take care, Sue

Okay, so you used a macro lens, telling me that the grasshopper is not big. WHAT?!? THREE INCHES?!?! Run for your life! Look at it from my purrspective and you'll see that three inches IS HUGE when your head is only five inches across with a good yawn. Heck, I don't even know if I could get him in my mouth!!! You gave him a ride down the driveway?? Should have been the other way around as I see it. HE'S HUGE!!!

Retreating purrs to mew,
