A few new Etsy listings

With the Texas temperatures well over 100 degrees and massive grasshoppers ready to pounce as soon as I open the door.  I decided to stay in the last few days and work on some necklaces I have been wanting to create for a while.

It is getting harder to find the smaller, leather, vintage coin purses and I am always on the hunt for them.   My dear friend, Thoma Lou, gave me a well loved coin purse and it is my favorite!  I used old necklaces, beads, charms and bracelets picked up from estate sales, antique stores , garage sales, family and friends donations to attach the purses to make a necklace.

Take a look....

Vintage crochet flower and very old button attached to the coin purse.

Blue cameo and vintage keys

pink and green brooch

Take a minute to visit my My Etsy Shop for more information and details!

I hope everyone is staying cool and getting some rain!   If you would please send cooler temps and rain to  us, I would appreciate it!

Have a great weekend!

I would love to send you some cooler temps and a bit of rain but, I don't have any to send. I will say I really like the necklaces you made with the old coin purses and bits of old jewelry. I've never seen any like this before! They are beautiful and unique. I also love the old dress form. Such personality there! Have a fabulous day!

We finally got a little bit of rain here after being declared a severe drought area. Problem is, it's too late for the crops. Food prices are going to skyrocket. I love your necklaces. Great idea for old coin purses. You are very creative.

Oh Cindy I love your creativeness (is that a word) and how you can turn something so old and forgotten into beautiful works of art that can be worn.
I hope you get your rain. I hope we get some too, moved the cows to the hay field hopefully it will rain and help the pasture. Hugs B

Great pieces, Cindy!! I've been like you...staying inside away from the Cincinnati heat and humidity!! We had one day (yesterday) of slightly cooler temps but the heat is back today!! Perfect time to catch up on my blog readings!!

Great necklace! I want one! my first thought was some jerk trying to steal it off my neck thinking it would have money in it. I would have to protect it.

Those are wonderful Cindy! Romeo says that Miss Trixie supervised.... I attempted to go to the Etsy site but I got a "broken stitch" message. Maybe I should leave this blogging comment thing to Romeo, he never seems to have these problems ;)

I hope you are staying INSIDE - it's not fit for woman or beast out there :(

Hugs! Keep up the wonderful creations - they are beautiful!

Silly us... we're leaving 70 degree temps to go visit family where it's pushing 100. But it's worth the smiles. :)
Stay cool, Cindy!
