I had a blast at the Homestead Antique Show!
It was two full days of setting up in the high 90's, muggy Texas weather, but it was all worth it on opening day. All the vendor's booths looked so great! All the customer's really loved all the variety and made several trips around the venue so they would not miss anything!
I even met of few of my fellow bloggers! That was the icing on the cake!
I made a few pictures to share with you...
My jewelry display..old rakes, a broom stick and a gear welded to rebar |
Love the little shoes and chair |
Jennifer Raesz, owner of the Lonestar Antique Mall in Fort Worth beautiful booth. I purchased the prettiest white shirt from her! |
My fellow Witherspoon Antique Mall friend, Kevin- A fun booth with lots of recycled and repurposed creations |
Elise with the Purple Goat has the most incredible mind. I love the way she can create the most thought provoking art pieces... |
This is just a drop in the bucket of Elise's creation. She is so smart and full of wisdom. It is always a pleasure to have a conversation with her. |
Carmen Castandena had plenty of industrial greatness mixed with a very feminine style. |
I love the way Carmen thinks out of the box |
My gorgeous friend Diedra Cockerhan with the Junkyard dog. She has an incredible eye for putting things together. She never stops moving! |
This is what I wanted to do after it was all said and done! |
I love this typewritter and leather purse |
Thoma Lou's gear garden flowers! She had such pretty antiques in her booth, I am sorry I didn't get pictures of her chalk full of goodness booth! |
These shoes kind of made me sad...don't know why, they just looked lonely....I must be tired! |
Love this couch and chair |
Denis of Ruby Grace's cool glasses. They didn't last long.. |

looks like it was a wonderful event...so many great treasures...
Love your jewelry display!!!
That couch and chair are fabulous. I would be in bad trouble there Cindy:}
I am not a great fan of 90 degree heat and humidity...you could say I avoid it at all costs...but looking at your pictures of all the booths I would have gladly spent time in the heat. What a great event and such wonderful images!!! (It's probably just as well that I wasn't there...I would have come home with another typewriter!)
How I would love to come to Texas to be there in person. L.O.V.E. all the creativity, including how-to-fix-a-tear-in-your-pants. :)
Have a great day, Cindy!
Hugs,
Zuzu
I love your lace jacket and have been looking around for something similar in a blouse or top. Haven't found 'just' the perfect one yet but will continue to look.
What a great time it appears everyone had! Hard work too!!
