It rained!!! and rained and rained!

Here is a picture of the Paluxy River about a month or so ago...dry as a bone

After 5 + inches of rain....

The Paluxy River is out of its banks!   Wonderful, wild river!
Glorious, absolutely glorious!

I had a fun weekend.   It started with a trip to the farmers market for pumpkins

Then I found a great old feed store.   It had jars and jars of every seed imaginable.  Plus
a contrary cat who likes to sit in seed starting trays.
I found dwarf kale to go with my spinach, lettuce and collards for my fall garden...

I finished up on some necklaces for my show in a couple of weeks..

door know plate, key and rhinestones

old outdoor faucet knob, rhinestones and crystal

pearls, joy charm and pretty framed picture

framed transfer and one of my old earrings (I hate I lost the other one, it was made by a very talented artist)

silver spoon,  tarnished propeller and mother of pearl link

I hope everyone has a great day!

XO

Cindy

Great necklaces Cindy! I am trying to learn to solder and it is a challenge!
I am so happy you guys finally got some rain. I have family all over Texas and my brother told me they had rain in Navasota on Sunday finally! We had nothing but rain for months here and I wished I could have blown it your way, we had too much of the darned stuff this year.
Have a happy day and I will keep praying you all get more rain soon!

PRAISE THE LORD FOR HIS BLESSING! I am so delighted you have rain and alot of it too. What a blessing and we too have some rain. Just an inch but it will do.

YOU have such a creative eye and come up with some outstanding ideas for your craft. I do pray you do well and sell all your hard work.

I've been under the weather and not hitting my favorite blogs like I should be...isn't rushing water fascinating?! We were home in CO this summer, and the riverbanks were overflowing from runoff.

The jewels are fabulous, Cindy - I hope each and every one sells for you! Have a great Monday - Tanya

We finally received rain recently, too! I'll never take rain for granted again. Ever. I really miss our thunderstorms.

Love the necklaces, by the way. I've just started making them, too, a few months back. It's pretty addictive. I love it!
