a sneak peek...

I am so excited to be in the Homestead Antique Show in Hico, TX this year!  If you are ANYWHERE near this area (SW of Fort Worth) you need to be here!  October 28th and 29th.  It is kind of like a mini Roundtop antique show Warrenton...(but it is growing each year with more and more excellent vendors!) Hico is an old western town with great old buildings with awesome shops.  The Homestead store is cornerstone of the town.  The owners Mike and Brenda James have been putting on this show for several years and it gets better every year. You will not be disappointed if you come!
I will be  selling my necklaces and a few other pieces in my friend Georgia's booth.
Look for "Screen Door Antiques"  and stop and say Hi!  I have several other dear friends that will be selling their awesome goods in nearby booths.  It will be a blast!

In between finishing up on my stained glass project, supplying the stores I sell in, my full time job in Fort Worth, I have been busy with my Hico necklaces....  Here is a peek at some of the necklaces I have made..

I have had SO much fun hunting for vintage jewelry, keys and other cool stuff.  Plus I have been so lucky to have wonderful friend to send great finds to me!  (Special thanks to my Mom, my sister Kim, Laura, Georgia, Janet and Trish!)
I am trying to make as many as I can.  I am an optimist!  Hope to see you there!

On a different note,  please send up a prayer for the people and animals that are being displaced and affected by the crazy  wildfires here in Texas.
