Live the Life you've imagined

I picked this sign up a few months ago and had it sitting on my shelf where I could see it everyday.   But it wasn't until today that I actually "saw" it and thought about what it really meant.

I have everything that I have dreamed of having....a loving family, a beautiful home in the country, my dogs, cat and cattle, amazing friends,  a new art studio, great job..I could go on and on.   I am truly blessed.

But am I living the life that I have imagined?
I think that I am, but I want to do more.  I want to be more relaxed, slow down a bit and enjoy my garden, the new born calves, do more artwork, spend more quality time with my family.  I also want to make a difference in this world even if it is just little things, like recycling, being more organic, not being so rushed and laughing more.  It is so easy to get caught up in the day to day stress of things that I forget to see what is really important...

It's a process. Each day we get up with the possibility to reinvent out lives.
one foot in front of the other....being open to new roads, new opportunities...you're doing fine :D

Sounds like God has truly blessed you with all the material possession that does make ones life comfortable. You are blessed to get to see new life created on the farm and I gather you have some awesome views of God's earth too where you live. Seek the kingdom of God first and he will direct your path. He knows your hearts desire is to be creative with your hands... after all, he gave you this talent. I pray one day you can quit your job so you can work on your art.

Your attitude determines your direction and you have great attitude! I re-invented my life at age forty and have no regrets. It is more and better than what I imagined.

Good food for thought here. I feel very blessed as well. But I think we continually need new goals and it sounds like you have some good ones to focus on and I can relate to them all (with the exception of enjoying calves that I currently don't have that is). :) ~Lili
