Newest baby
This is one of our babies born this week. I love his face, reminds me of a panda. He is very curious and feisty. I will post pictures of the others later on. Each one is so cute!

um...this is Texas..duh...
My friends in other states really could not comprehend our "snow sledding" day.
We don't have sleds, snow shoes, skis readily available. So, we make due with what we have..
and what we do have is a big ol' tractor and a flat bottom boat....
I am sure we had a few eye rolls..
Whatever!
We had just as much fun as anyone with a fancy bobsled or snowmobile. Plus there was no way in heck we were going to get stuck!
My children are grown with lives of their own, but this day, we were all together and we all acted like kids.
A day I will remember.......
Now, if you must, roll your eyes...
but don't knock it until you try it!

busy snow day
I had several snow days in my studio. It was a great break from my regular job! I loved it and it gave me plenty of time to relax and make a few things...
I have lots of vintage lace and material as well as a huge bag of dried lavender from my friend in California. I made these lavender sachets out of my goodies.
When I tired of making sachets, I started making some Valentine's cards...
I finished my extended weekend with a few
vintage optical lens transfer necklaces.
I am working on a new design for my spoon necklaces, I will take a few to Witherspoons in Granbury and put the rest on Etsy. stay tuned!!!

trying my hand at photography and photoshop
I have fallen in love with taking pictures and fooling around on photoshop. I am just hitting the tip of the iceberg when it comes to photoshop and taking pictures.
Having a professional photographer for a sister and a professional illustrator and guru photoshopper for a brother-in-law, I am almost embarrassed to even show my pictures, but I am having fun!
