Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a little scurrying between the fence of my garden...
Here is the culprit with a belly full of tender lettuce!
A baby rabbit..
He was trying his best not to be seen
We have lots of cottontails around our house and in the woods.
It took all I had not to pick him up and pet him.
He stood still for a couple of quick pictures
Then off to the woods to find his mom!

Oh dear cute but a problem. I have wee green crickets eating plants all over the garden.
Oh Cindy...how can you get mad at that precious face??? I don't know what you'd do except put up a little chicken wire fence around :) xxoo, Dawn
oh my gosh. you couldn't get mad at that tiny one! :)
Aww so cute. I saw a baby bunny the other day and watched it for a long while.

Can you hear that?...."she" is squealing and you should be able to hear it even from your distance. She LOVES bunnies and little baby bunnies...oh geez, if "she" was a cocker spaniel "she'd" have peed on the floor. I'm telling you serious baby bunny love. Yeah, I know, "she's" a bit umm, what's the word? Ah never mind, you know....

He was a good baby for sitting still for you. We have seen more baby bunnies this year then any other.
Hope it's cool there....not so much here. Don't know how you Texans do it:)

Hi, I just found your delightful blog. I didn't think about cottontails in Texas . . . I have a picture in my mind of jack rabbits with their long ears and fast pace. I have visited your Esty shop and I am amazed at your lovely vintage jewelry, you are a very talented young lady. I am your newest follower. Please accept my invitation to visit and maybe follow me, too. Have a wonderful week, Connie :)
P.S. Love the nose to nose photo of your dog and new calf.
