Days like this is when I really miss the Blue Ridge Mountains in Asheville, my hometown. I love Texas with it's wide open spaces, beautiful wildflowers and friendly people, but I do not love the hot weather! I have been in Texas for almost 30 years, and I am still not used to it. I will have to start planning my trip to the cool mountains very soon.
So, I will take a hint from my cows, take a dip in the stocktank and kick back on a haybale when the weather reaches over 100!
