A peaceful, thankful Saturday Afternoon

Sometimes, life throws you a curve ball, the wind gets knocked out of your sail or things are exactly as they appear.   I am very Thankful this cool Saturday afternoon knowing I can survive curve balls and deflated sails.  I am stronger than ever.
All I have to do to be reminded of my simple, joyful life is to look out my window and see these sweet faces!

I have a family that loves me and I love them dearly.   Life is good....

I am learning alot lately to just "be still" and see the precious blessings that are right in front of me ~

It is what is is...and we are who we are, But...life changes for all of us, each and every day. So we live each day to the best that we are able, and I want to believe, there will always be better days coming. That has been my life. Only in a perfect world...the doctor said my son should have made it and lived through his cancer surgery. Didn't happen. sometimes, I guess, it is not to be. I can accept that, tho, it is difficult. We do (parents) go on...

These are the times we need to get quiet and listen to the lord and what he has to say. He is there for you and will lift your spirits, it this was not true he would not have said it. IN our darkest hour he is there. All things work for his glory... Hard to see it now but its true!

Much prayer you and your family...

I've adapted a "just float with it" attitude - I figure it's all going to turn out the way it is supposed to eventually.
Sending hugs your way, Cinday!

Oh Cindy you are so right there have been quite a few curve balls thrown this few weeks and it is true. Be grateful for the things in your life that are simple and joyful. Try to forget the things you have no control over. Hug.. B
